One half of the Christian pop duo for KING & COUNTRY who performs alongside his brother Luke Smallbone. They were named New Artist to Watch in 2012 by Billboard, and in 2015, they won two Grammy awards in Contemporary Christian Music categories.
Before Fame
In high school, he did background vocals for his sister and other bands in America. He and Joel previously went by the band name Joel & Luke, which they then changed to Austoville before settling on For King & Country.
Trivia
Their first two studio albums, Crave and Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong, charted at #4 and #2 on the Top Christian Albums chart, respectively.
Family Life
He married singer Moriah Peters in July 2013. His brother-in-law is Foster the People bassist Jacob Fink. His father was a music promoter.
