Before Fame
She attended the Ignatius Gymnasium in Amsterdam. She then studied psychology at the University of Amsterdam. She headed to America to study at HB Studio before going back to Amsterdam upon being accepted into the Theaterschool.
Trivia
She won the Guido de Moor Award for young talent after performing in the Arthur Schnitzler monologue Fraulein Else.
Family Life
As a child, she accompanied her parents as touring musicians. Her mom Vera Beths was a violinist and her father Werner Herbers was a conductor. Both parents were remarried.
